My momma and her girls: then and now.
#Mother's Day #life #my face
As I’m rushing through my morning routine trying to get ready for church this morning, I somehow didn’t realize that my body wash was hanging open above me in my shower.
Long story short, I ended up with a huge glob of scented Coconut body wash in my eye (it feels a lot better on skin than on eyeball, trust me). I haven’t felt pain like that in a long time.
So I run out of the bathroom because it hurts so much and my mom runs to get a wet towel and eye drops once I tell her what’s happened. Even though we were running late for church, she sat with me until the burning was tolerable and made sure that I was okay.
There are some things that only a mom can do - some pains that only a mom can remedy and some tears that only a mom can wipe away.
So thankful today for my mother and everything that she does. This is what Mother’s Day is all about.
